8 months agoVery impressive creativity in this little gem of a place! The bartenders are amazing!!! The drink list is custom created several times/year and off the menu they made me an incredible chocolate peppermint martini! I’ll be back for sure!

year agoThis is my all-time favorite spot in Burlington, I always bring friends and family here. It’s a little on the pricier side, but totally worth it (literally best cocktails I’ve ever had). The staff/space is amazing, super friendly and accommodating. They do a great job sourcing things locally (even the art on display). The atmosphere is perfect for a cozy, intimate time, but it can get pretty busy late on weekends. If you’re coming with a larger group, I’d recommend getting there early. They do have 1-2 bigger tables/areas. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in town! ❤️❤️❤️

year agoOut of towner looking for local twist, and this place delivers. Interesting theme throughout, great drinks - and really appreciate the thoughtful responses of the staff when I asked for recommendations or substitutions. Even recommended cheaper options a couple times. Highly recommend the deviled eggs and the Greek fries are righteous.

2 months agoVery unique and tasty drinks, me and a friend are in town and the server took his time to walk us through the menu and drink concepts. Had the beef tartare and would rate it 3/5 stars but presentation was amazing. Will be coming back!

9 months agoMy husband and I rented out the bar for our wedding after party in October 2025 and we couldn't have imagined a better way to end the night! We stumbled into Devil Takes A Holiday on a visit to Burlington last summer, and were immediately blown away by their cocktails. They're truly one of a kind and indescribable. Fast forward to planning our wedding some months later, my husband and I asked several of our other vendors for recommendations for an after party location (since we're not from the area), and so many of them said no where would beat DTAH and working with Taylor, the owner/manager. This basically solidified our decision and we spent little time on other options. Though we booked several months in advance, Taylor was super communicative throughout and made every accommodation we asked for feel easy. The biggest of all was setting up an instant ramen bar as a late-night snack for our guests - we provided the ramen, but we were so pleasantly surprised upon arrival to see that DTAH had also set out several toppings such as soft-boiled eggs, corn, scallions, and crispy onion! Truly above and beyond. But most of all, we were just so excited to share their cocktails that we had been gushing to everyone about for so long. We had around 60-70 guests make it to the after, and DTAH kept their entire menu available to us (no easy feat, but they handled it so seamlessly), and we kept getting comments throughout the night about how they were some of the best cocktails people had ever had. If you're in need of a private event space in the future, don't look further because I genuinely think DTAH is the best option in terms of cocktails, service, and vibes in Burlington. And if you're not, definitely stop by and make yourself a regular - we know we'd definitely be here every weekend if we could!

5 months agoThe atmosphere is awesome, the drinks are so delicious, and fun. So many specialty drink choices that are unique to this establishment. My wife and I tried the hot specialty mixed drink with Brownie batter, 5yr rum, cinnamon and toasted marshmallows on top, and it was perfect after walking 11 minutes from our Airbnb in what felt like 4°F outside. Highly recommend trying it out.

month agoCreative cocktail menu, great vibe, and I love the local artwork hanging around that’s also for sale. They have some food options too — and the banana bread is bloody good. Definitely a fun spot to come back to.

month agoReally fun, creative cocktails. Dark aesthetic with lots of owl and bone art. The servers were so nice and were very good sports about our group being a bunch of 40 year olds on a bachelorette party paying separately! I had the Pachamama which includes absinthe, coconut whipped cream, coconut, lime and some other stuff. It was phenomenal and refreshing. I resisted the urge to bring the cute glass home with me.

month agoThis place is an absolute must if you’re in Burlington — honestly, I’d even plan a trip just to come here. Everything about it is phenomenal. The vibe is super kooky and eccentric, with so many little details that make it feel really unique. The food was great, too. My husband did the ghost pepper wing challenge and actually completed it (and won a shirt). For something that spicy, the wings were still really flavorful and juicy. The drinks were the real star, though. We tried the Lox Bagel drink (don’t knock it till you try it — it was amazing), This Shit is Bananas (a milk punch, so good), and Bog & Nectar (very alcohol-forward but really well balanced). Our bartender, Joe, was fantastic and could walk us through the flavor profiles in detail. Definitely sit at the bar if you can — it makes the whole experience better getting to chat with the bartenders who really know their craft. We’re definitely coming back.
